Removed the tank today...still looking good after more than 60 years!

Wheels....

Removed the wheels for restoration, list of things that will be done:

• Sandblast.
• Powder-coat rims and hub.
• Paint Silver inner line.
• Fit new spokes.
• Replace wheel bearings.
• Fit new Tyres.

The finished product should look like this:

Custom Work Bench/Trolley

I got a quote to restore the wheels which left me with a problem of how to remove both wheels at the same time and still be able to work on the bike and move it around - so a quick trip to the local hardware store, some minimal labor and I came up with the trolley below.  Problem solved.....

Some Inspiration.....

After searching on the web I came across this article about a restored 1953 R25/2 which took over 3 years to complete.

Collected the bike today

Got a friend to help and we collected the bike today, a bit dirty from standing outside but it's 100% complete.
